The 4th Man (Quincy & Rainie, #6.5)The 4th Man by Lisa Gardner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Canceled meetings with family and friends. It could mean nothing at or all. Or maybe…it isn’t a matter of what changed in the victim’s life ten years ago, but who” A fourth man.

With the married team of ex-FBI profiler Pierce Quincy and his wife, former police officer Rainie Conner, are assigned to conduct interviews of suspects of a cold case of 10 years ago. The murder of Jaylin Banks. A college student who was murdered in tightly secured library. With the list of those who entered the library, the married team conducts interviews hoping to uncover a lie and or misstep of Jaylin’s murder.

For a short story, I thought it picked up pretty well the characters, the chemistry of the husband and wife team and was able to pull off a twist. Based on a true account, I was hooked.

A Special Thank You to Penquin Dutton Group and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.
